Business Exhibition - 24th June 2009

The East Grinstead Business Association is to hold its first Business Exhibition at Chequer Mead Community Arts Centre on 24 June to showcase the wealth of business skills and resources available locally.

The exhibition will promote local companies’ products and services and there will be a variety of seminars throughout the day covering public and business issues.

It will also be an opportunity for townspeople to appreciate the diversity of goods and services on offer locally and for school sixth formers to explore the work-experience and job opportunities with local companies.

Our New Web Site in Planning Stage

We are in the process of creating a new web site for the local area that will include ALL aspects of life and living.

The idea is that it will have sections for everything - local news, sport, shopping, local politics, forums, social networking, details for all the local groups, whether they are for golf, horse riding, archery, businesses - everything. We are hoping that it becomes a place that truly reflects our town, our ethos, our traditions, our community.

As it will be for the town of East Grinstead and the surrounding area only, it is appropriate that you have your say in the kind of things that should be included.
