During the last 20 years the Library has responded positively to new demands From the public, extending the range of material available to include DVD's, Videos, Music CD's and Books on CD. Services have been extended to include :-

For the Children :- Baby Rhyme time/Toddler Time and a story time Club for the Under 5's

Holiday activities and A Summer Reading Game (in 2004 entitled " Reading Rollercoaster ") for all ages. And for Parents a special collection of books and other material to help with All those " Problem Situations"

Displays of recommended books and support for Readers Groups have been extended and a wide range of books on all subjects is available for the general Reader and for students.

There are now 12 PC's available for public use at a charge of £2 per hour or for Registered Library members at £12 per year. The Library has been able to offer a range of basic I.T courses for the Complete beginner - Enquiries are welcome.

Help Point offer assistance and advice on enquiries relating to all Council and Health Services as well as providing residents Parking Vouchers and Garden Refuse Sacks.

A Tourist Desk provides information on local accommodation and places to Visit with a wide range of leaflets for the visitor and local people.

The Library also houses:

Careers Office, East Grinstead Volunteer Bureau, the East Grinstead Tourism Information Point, The CVS, The Learning Centre, The Registrar of Births Marriages and Deaths and FurniHelp, as well as the Help Point for County District and Town matters.
