Meet the Boss

Domino's Pizza

Stephen Hough & Becky Mason opened Domino's Pizza in East Grinstead on the 24th May 2004. The store received a warm welcome from East Grinstead customers, with the store's pizza experts hand making and delivering over 70 freshly baked pizzas an hour. Steve says of Domino's first three months in East Grinstead; "Making such a positive start in a new store really put the pressure on our locally employed crew, but they all responded magnificently and I am very proud of them all."

Steve certainly knows his pizza. He joined Domino's as an Area Manager nearly 5 years ago and has successfully managed and improved several multi unit operations across the country, before settling down in East Grinstead. "East Grinstead is an area I have always wanted to live in; the people are friendly and the surrounding countryside is some of the best in the country - it has everything you need!" says Steve.

Prior to his Domino's career, Steve was involved in helping to set up national companies in the UK . "Setting up other companies gave me a detailed insight into what is really required to make a business a success, be it detailed marketing, or attention to the finest details in the operation. The key to any successful business however, has got to be the people who work for it. At Domino's, people always come first and joining our team is like adopting a new family that you can call upon 7 days a week for help and advice."

Domino's Pizza is the world's largest pizza delivery company and Steve believes its success is down to the fresh dough, top quality ingredients and an attention to training and detail that other pizza delivery companies just cannot match.

Domino's also aims to deliver a freshly baked pizza to the customer's door within 30 minutes or the time quoted when ordering pending weather, traffic conditions, etc. To ensure driver safety and great service however the delivery area is tightly controlled, which does mean that some customers who live outside of the area need to collect their orders. We never penalise drivers for late deliveries. Steve says; "We are prepared to go out of the area for large pre-booked orders however and we will even bring in extra staff just for your order!"

Domino's has quickly become a household name in East Grinstead and is the current sponsors of East Grinstead FC under 10's team.

Domino's is now open for lunch 7 days a week - to see the full latest menu, current local deals, delivery area, discover more about dominos and to order on line visit;
